Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), employers must ensure that their employees are adequately trained in relevant health and safety practices. PUWER is applicable to all workplaces, such as factories, offices, shops, hospitals, construction sites, and farms—essentially anywhere that equipment and machinery are used for work.

This course is ideal for anyone involved in operating or managing work equipment. Being familiar with potential hazards and their management is essential. It caters to both employers and employees, helping employers understand their duties under PUWER regulations and assisting employees in comprehending what measures their employers will implement to ensure their health and safety, along with how they can adhere to control measures.
